Campaign sequence
Cold email campaign sequence with LeadRM
LeadRM is a pay-as-you-go CRM at https://leadrm.app. It finds businesses, checks emails, and exports a CSV. It does not send the campaign. The seven steps below follow the sequence in order: domains, workspace, warm-up, lead search, verification, sequence, then the CSV upload.
1. Buy two burner domains

What this step is
Register two extra domains used only for cold outreach. These are often called burner or lookalike domains.
Why it matters
Cold email should not leave your primary business domain. If a campaign trips spam filters, that reputation can spill into invoices, client mail, and other day-to-day messages. A separate domain keeps that risk off the domain your customers already know.
How to do it
Buy the domains at a registrar such as Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Cloudflare. LeadRM does not register or host domains. Pick names a recipient can read, point DNS at the mailbox host in the next step, and leave your main company domain out of the sending setup.
2. Set up a workspace for both domains

What this step is
Create real mailboxes for both burner domains on a business email host.
Why it matters
Inbox providers look at the mail system behind an address, not only the words in the message. A business mailbox on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is the usual starting point. Low-cost shared hosting is a weaker place to begin a new sending domain.
How to do it
Create a Google Workspace account and add both domains, or use Microsoft 365 if that is the host you already run. Make a small set of sending addresses, turn on the authentication records your host documents (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC), and sign in to those mailboxes before you send anything. This setup is outside LeadRM. LeadRM does not provide inboxes.
3. Warm up new addresses for 10–15 days

What this step is
Let each new address send, receive, and reply to ordinary mail for 10 to 15 days before the campaign starts.
Why it matters
A brand-new address has no sending history. A large first-day blast looks automated. Warm-up tools imitate normal mailbox activity so filters see the domain in use before the campaign volume starts. Warm-up does not promise inbox placement.
How to do it
Connect the new addresses in SalesBlink or Instantly and start their warm-up for 10 to 15 days. Keep daily volume low while that runs. LeadRM does not send email and does not warm mailboxes. You will export a list from LeadRM only after this window, in the last step.
4. Search for leads in LeadRM

What this step is
Build the list inside LeadRM by searching one public directory for a specific kind of business.
Why it matters
A sequence works better when the rows match the offer. Niche and location narrow the list to businesses that have a reason to care. A search still might not find an email for every business, and a saved address is not a promise that the message will be delivered.
How to do it
Open https://leadrm.app/app and click Find Leads. The form is titled Find leads. Fill Niche / business type, Location when the label does not say optional, and one Data Source: Google Maps, Yelp, Trustpilot, Google Play Store (App Developers), Product Hunt, or G2.com. Add an optional Campaign tag, set Max businesses to process from 1 to 500, and click Find leads. The cost line reads 1 credit per business processed + 1 credit per verified email found. A Valid result is the verification that uses that second credit. New rows land on Cold Leads. A workspace can store up to 500,000 leads. If a saved row has a blank email, select it and click Find Email (AI). That search costs 1 credit when it completes, including when no email is found, and it does not verify the address.
5. Verify lead emails before anyone is contacted

What this step is
Check the addresses already saved on Cold Leads before a single campaign email goes out.
Why it matters
Mail to dead or invalid addresses produces hard bounces. A high bounce rate is a fast way for a sending domain to be blocked. Verification removes many of those addresses from the file you will export. It does not guarantee that every remaining message will be delivered.
How to do it
Stay on Cold Leads. Filter with All, Verified OK, Catch-All, Invalid, or Unverified. Click Verify Unchecked Emails. That button is separate from Find Leads. It checks cold-stage addresses that do not have a result yet, and it charges 1 credit per email checked. Use Actions, then Purge Invalid Emails, when you want invalid rows removed. Export later includes Verified rows only, so Catch-All, Invalid, and Unverified stay out of the automation file.
6. Create a sequence of no more than six emails

What this step is
Write a short automatic sequence in the tool that will send the mail. Keep it to six emails or fewer.
Why it matters
Most replies come after more than one touch. A short sequence follows up without asking you to track each send by hand. More than six steps usually adds volume without a clearer ask.
How to do it
Build the sequence in SalesBlink or Instantly, on the warmed addresses from step 3. LeadRM does not send the sequence and does not store the sending schedule. If you want a first draft of the wording, open a lead and click Draft with AI. That button only produces text to copy. You still paste it into the sending tool and you still decide the delays, the offer, and the opt-out line.
7. Export the CSV and load it into the sequence

What this step is
Download the verified campaign list from LeadRM and import that file into the sequence you already created.
Why it matters
The sending tool needs a clean file, not your whole CRM. Exporting one campaign of Verified addresses is the handoff between list prep and the live sequence.
How to do it
On Cold Leads, check the rows you want and use Actions, then Set Campaign, if they are not tagged yet. Under Campaign / List, choose that campaign. All campaigns will not download a file. Set Split Export to All in one file, or to Chunks of 50 or Chunks of 100. Click Export for Automation. The CSV is for Instantly, Smartlead, or SalesBlink. It includes cold-stage rows in that campaign that are Verified, have an email, and are not globally unsubscribed. Upload the file in SalesBlink or Instantly and attach it to the sequence. LeadRM stops at the file. It does not start the sends.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for CAN-SPAM and similar laws in the places you email. Include a real postal address and a working way to opt out, and honor opt-outs. LeadRM prepares the list. It does not send the mail or decide who you may contact.

- What this page is
- This page is a public how-to for a cold email campaign sequence that uses LeadRM to find businesses, verify emails, and export a CSV. LeadRM is a pay-as-you-go CRM at https://leadrm.app. LeadRM does not send email.
- Sequence
- Buy two burner domains at Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Cloudflare, and do not send cold email from the primary business domain. Put both domains on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Warm the new addresses for 10 to 15 days in SalesBlink or Instantly. In LeadRM, click Find Leads, choose one data source, and process at most 500 businesses per search. A search costs 1 credit per business processed plus 1 credit per Valid verified email. Find Email (AI) costs 1 credit per completed search. A search does not always return an email. On Cold Leads, click Verify Unchecked Emails. In SalesBlink or Instantly, create a sequence of no more than 6 emails. Then choose a campaign in LeadRM and click Export for Automation, and upload that CSV into the sending tool. The sender is responsible for CAN-SPAM and similar laws. Storage holds up to 500,000 leads. Sources are Google Maps, Yelp, Trustpilot, Google Play Store (App Developers), Product Hunt, and G2.com.
